I just returned from JBS after watching Balestier's Khalsa's loss to Gombak United, despite a first half lead. The Tigers fell to the Bulls in the second half by an own goal. The Bulls were the slightly better team and kept the Tigers' defence busy most of the match. And the good reflexes of the Gombak goalkeeper prevented the Tigers' captain from scoring the equaliser.
I do hope the Tigers play the same way when they visit the Cheetah's Liar next Tuesday and score FOR us like they did for Gombak. Our Cheetahs may have lost to the Eagles last week, but if the team can put up at good offensive display, I'm sure the Hougang faithful will be rewarded with seeing United grab another 3 precious points.
It's another Catfight at Hougang Stadium next week and I'm looking forward to that.
