Congratulations to our Lions on winning their opening Suzuki Cup match against Malaysia.
It's a pity there are no LIVE screenings of the match around my neighbourhood.
When asked about any public screening before the day of the opening match, Mr Zai said he "will update on the community screening soon". The update never came.
I expected our leaders to be excited about the match and try to gather residents at community centres to cheer our Lions. They missed a fantastic opportunity for community bonding.
It's disappointing that it's all quiet on Saturday. It's Singapore vs Malaysia, not just any other match.
Are they waiting for our Lions to win before they take do anything? Are they fair weather fans?
